About the department:

BYD is market leader across all ranges - passenger cars, trucks, buses and warehousing equipment.

The R&D department plans the sustainable product and technology road map for Europe and works on developing advanced, full electric vehicles series, which fulfill current and future European private transportation market needs. By cooperating with European leading suppliers, the R&D department continuously upgrades design and engineering abilities for excellent product performance and quality.

As R&D Engineer, you will do research, analysis and evaluation of E-mobility products, user experience and usability of both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. You will use these research insights for the product development and iteration, working closely together with product, design and engineering teams.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Responsible for undertaking low-voltage technical support for all European export models;
• Troubleshoot and resolve;
• Technical communication with customers;
• Organizing technical exchanges between Europe and Shenzhen.

Your profile:

• Master the function, working principle, composition and structure of each electrical system, and understand the technical requirements of each component;
• Understand quality knowledge and master basic quality tools;
• Understand BYD's workflow, analyze and solve complex problems in depth;
• Passionate about New Energy Vehicles Industry;
  
• Self-motivated but also an active team player;
• Good organization and coordination skills;
• Proficient in word,excel,PPT and other software;
• Fluent in English.
