The Payroll Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees, responsible for maintaining payroll information, calculating wages, and ensuring that employees are paid correctly and on time.

Job Description

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the following:

• Collecting, calculating, and entering data to maintain accurate payroll records

• Processing payroll on a regular schedule, including salary, overtime, bonuses, and deductions

• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding payroll processing and reporting

• Preparing SSI monthly statements and receiving accruals

• Sending workforce notifications to İşkur

• Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters

• Preparing and distributing payroll reports as needed

• Collaborating with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate employee compensation and benefits

• Assisting with payroll audits and resolving any discrepancies

• Staying updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices

General Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing or related field

• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, particularly Excel

• Strong understanding of payroll principles, regulations, and compliance

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
