About BYD Auto Hungary
On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.
BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic Workshop Supervisor (team leader)/ Field Engineer to join our Auto Parts Division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the overall management of the workshop production line, promote the five major production tasks, and manage a staff of around 50-110 people. The specific job responsibilities are as follows:
- Safety section: Be in charge of workshop production safety management, fire safety, safety education, safety training, safety inspections, promotion of 5S work, supervision, guidance, and coordination of environmental protection. Promote and continuously monitor improvements in accordance with the ISO14001/ISO45001/ISO18001 systems to ensure that no safety accidents occur in the workshop.
- Quality section: Be responsible for establishing the workshop quality system. Build the workshop quality management system based on IATF16949, ISO9001, VDA6.3, and VDA6.5. Participate in the workshop's audit - welcoming work, supervise the rectification of audit issues, control the workshop product quality, establish and supervise the management of workshop quality objectives, be responsible for the continuous improvement of quality objectives, escalate and feedback quality problems, and handle feedback and solutions when quality problems occur on the production line.
- Manufacture section: Allocate employees reasonably according to the production plan to ensure the achievement of the production plan. Decompose the production plan and issue it to the group plan. Monitor the hourly plan - achievement, and coordinate resources to ensure the achievement of the production plan.
- Cost management: Manage the workshop cost, promote the compilation of original price, unit cost, and budget. Control the labor cost efficiency of the workshop, establish cost and efficiency indicators, and ensure that the indicators meet the company's requirements.
- Personnel section: Manage the workshop personnel, provide guidance and training for new employees, cultivate the capabilities of workshop personnel, and ensure that the proportion of multi - skilled workers in the workshop is not less than 60%. Develop training materials and conduct irregular training for employees. Determine the qualification of workshop personnel for on-the-job positions and cultivate reserve talents, reduce the turnover rate, and cooperate with the work of the factory and other relevant departments and sections, carry out relevant management activities to ensure the smooth progress of production.
- Talent cultivation: Establish the workshop talent echelon, improve the capabilities of key-position personnel in the workshop, develop teaching materials and PPT courseware for the talent-ability improvement stage, and assess the ability certification of workshop personnel.
- Complete all tasks assigned by superiors on time.
- Comply with all company rules and regulations.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
- Familiar with the use and maintenance of various measuring tools and equipment tools, familiar with the four major processes of automobile production, team management experience of more than 3 years, and basic lean production knowledge.
- Work experience: more than 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Work experience that can use English/Hungarian as a working language can be appropriately relaxed;
