About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic Payroll specialist
to join our Country HR Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participating in the implementation phase of the scheduling, time attendance and pay-roll system.

• Responsible for coordinating with suppliers to configure scheduling and attendance requirements during the implementation of the attendance and salary system.

• Keeping update and capable for rescheduling the associate's attendance based on division/department needs.

• Provide regular time banking, scheduling, salary, and other training for personnel and general specialists in the business department.

• Review the time bank and scheduling requirements of the business division.

• Regularly check the attendance records of the business department to ensure compliance.

• As the backup for payroll accounting, check and verify the results with payroll accounting during the payroll cycle to improve the accuracy of payroll calculations.

• Participate in audit procedures requested by authorities

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, with at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

• Familiar with IFRS and/or US GAAP, and able to handle payroll-related work independently.

• Fluent Hungarian; English or Chinese required as a working language.

• Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll calculation and/or solid experience in coordinating with local payroll service providers.

• Positive attitude, strong work motivation, high resilience, and strong adaptability.
