Your Role
As the Regional Sales Manager Benelux, you will be critical in ensuring that our BYD dealer networks are fully skilled and equipped to deliver consistently outstanding and maximizing sales performance.
You will define and monitor Funnel Management KPIs that will ensure that our dealer-based sales teams have the necessary means they will need to deliver excellence at every stage of our customer journey for passenger cars: from initial lead inquiry through to sales and eventually vehicle delivery and customer loyalty retention.
Based on analysis and improvement plans, you will be expected to permanently monitor (changes in) market conditions and act according to our dealer network and our internal management.
In addition to the above, you will also work closely with the network and sales activation team for Benelux. This particular requires permanent attention for network improvement opportunities to boost sales volume further.
You will be a member of the Benelux Team, and report directly to the Commercial Director Benelux.
Location: Hoofddorp, the Netherlands
Your Tasks
Define and present annual targets to regional distributors/dealers and drive volume based on these targets.
- Define and monitor Funnel Management KPIs for the dealer network, creating actionable improvement plans.
- Identify and address deficiencies in dealer inventory, placing orders for sales and stock volume, including demo cars.
- Monitor periodic dealer reports, provide progress updates, and advise on improvements to management.
- Collaborate with the local Finance Partner Team to define and follow up on preferred financial solutions, building action plans based on feedback.
- Execute annual, quarterly, and monthly activation and launch plans with the marketing and sales activation team.
- Supervise dealer financial statements, including margin, return on sales, and overall profitability.
Provide market sales insights and competitor benchmarking, and support product launch plans and range expansion for the Benelux market.
Key Objectives
- Deliver daily sales reports and periodical market analysis reports to management.
- Diagnosing commercial and funnel management metrics at the regional or dealership level, providing solutions and actions for improvement.
- Develop and implement effective financial retail solutions.
- Maintain smooth and effective communications with dealership partners and support the growth of sales volume and market share.
You have
- Master’s degree in business administration, Marketing or related education.
- Minimal 8 years of working experience as Sales Manager or Retail Manager in the Automotive industry
- A customer-centric mindset connected with our mission and a more sustainable future.
- Excellent English, Dutch, or French language capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge and passion about the European automotive industry's brands, products, and technologies.
- Self-motivated with excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.
- Ability to work in a rapidly developing, dynamic environment and partner effectively with cross-border/cultural teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently in the Benelux market, maintaining close connections with partners and HQ.
