About the Department
BYD's planning & commerce department is a key link in BYD's supply chain system. We are committed to tasks such as demand forecasting, production factory docking, European market docking, and distribution plan. Our mission is to ensure a smooth process from manufacturing to delivery of BYD products, provide customers with efficient and reliable services, and provide strategic support for the company's global business development.
About Operation Department
Operation department takes care of the inbound of all the vehicles that are imported from HQ and other factories in Europe; and also the distribution of those vehicles to different dealers. Logistics department is responsible for exploring the most suitable solutions for all logistics issues in the automotive division. The logistics role is key to the success of the fulfilment to customers and orders.
Planning Specialist key responsibility areas will be:
- Communicate with China headquarter, relevant European departments and CEE department to get good information on vehicle requirements and complete deliveries on time;
- Operate in the different systems used, for the purpose of full process control or financial control of the delivery of goods, e.g. CRM, ERP or SAP systems;
- Organising and providing real-time information on POs and deliveries;
- Rational control of vehicle stock
- management of first-in-first-out (FIFO)
- Continuous improvement of the whole delivery process and control of delivery costs;
- Printing of COC and ECOC certificates
As a Planning Specialist you will:
- Daily communication with other colleagues & departments.
- Gathering and reviewing customer demands, communicating with domestic and overseas passenger car factories for a sustainable supply plan.
- Reasonable inventory control
- Using CRM, SAP and other systems for PO confirmation and evaluation, vehicle allocation, invoice and delivery.
- Communicate and Collecting compounds daily status report;
- Allocating vehicles to the POs according to different factors like locations, the status of incoming shipments, and the priorities of POs also ensure FIFO.
- Monitoring the delivery situations by communicating with team members who arrange transport;
- Tracking the quantity of the vehicles that are inbound, in stock and outbound and delivered;
- Daily data maintenance & update with systems & without systems (e.g. excels);
- Monitoring potential problems and bottlenecks and exploring ways to improve working flow;
- Printing the COC documents
- Providing support to all the procedures when it is needed.
We hope you have:
- Preferably up to 3 years of related working experience or graduate of related study field;
- Bachelor`s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, data analysis or business management.
- Proficient Excel user skills;
- Excellent English & Chinese language skills, Dutch or any other European language will be considered as an advantage;
- Stress-resilient with the problem –solving mindset;
- Team player with attention to detail.
