About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

Responsibilities

• Have experience in logistics of Party A and Party B, have a good understanding of the management of logistics suppliers, and have a deep understanding of the overall logistics management (with successful cases); while leading the team to ensure the smooth operation of logistics business, they can constantly explore and solve logistics problems, and realize the continuous;

• Internally communicate with Chinese KD business colleagues to understand the booking and shipping dynamics of sales orders in China;
  
  
• Coordinate with ship owners or freight forwarders, customs clearance agencies, monitor the arrival time of goods at European ports, handover of relevant bills of lading and other documents, prepare customs clearance documents (using GTS system), and track T1 customs transfer, clearance and other situations
  
  
• Track the overall logistics situation of goods arriving at the Szeged factory end-to-end based on transportation and clearance points.
  
  
• Weekly and monthly operational quality monitoring and data analysis;
  
  
• Manage shipping companies and freight forwarders, analyze data based on operational quality, and communicate with shipping companies or freight forwarders to resolve operational anomalies (through weekly, monthly meetings, etc.);
  
  
• Responsible for collecting, organizing, and applying for payment (TMS) related expenses;
  
  
• Follow up the projects of the management department, coordinate the resources of the department, and ensure that the projects are carried out according to the plan and delivered on time;
  
  
• Other matters assigned by the leader

Requirements

• Have experience in import and export related operations
  
  
• Familiar with the customs declaration and inspection procedures for sea, air, land FCL, LCL, and bulk cargo import and export operations, and master the operational characteristics of each port;
  
  
• Experience in project management and human efficiency management;
  
  
• Clear thinking, agile thinking, cheerful personality, sense of responsibility, strong communication skills;
  
  
• Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing, capable of directly communicating with Chinese colleagues;
  
  
• Familiar with using various office software, such as PPT /EXCEL
