About BYD Auto Hungary
On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.
BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic HR Relocation Specialist to join our Country HR Team.
We are looking for an Immigration & Mobility Specialist to manage end-to-end immigration and mobility operations in Hungary. You will coordinate work permit and visa processes with external suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensure compliance with Hungarian regulations, and maintain accurate mobility data and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, submit, and track permit/visa applications in cooperation with external suppliers and internal partners, including but not limited to:
Work permits (various employment types), ICT permits, National Card, Hungary Card, EU Blue Card, investment permit, short-term work permits.
Register joiners and leavers in a timely manner in Enter Hungary.
Complete the investment visa framework agreement accurately and on time.
Prepare and submit government-required reports accurately and on time.
Maintain accurate mobility and expatriate data and ensure proper documentation.
Monitor updates in immigration and mobility regulations and deliver training sessions for divisions and visa coordinators.
Ensure mobility processes comply with Hungarian labor law, immigration law, and internal company policies.
Work closely with key stakeholders (Immigration Office, relocation agencies, legal teams, internal HR) to ensure timely and effective communication and case resolution.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
Experience
3–5 years of experience in international mobility, immigration, or HR operations.
Experience managing expatriates and relocation processes.
Experience in manufacturing or multinational companies is preferred.
Experience supporting Chinese expatriates is a strong advantage.
Technical Knowledge
Solid knowledge of Hungarian immigration and work permit processes.
Understanding of Hungarian labor law and employment regulations.
Experience working with relocation and immigration vendors.
Skills & Competencies
Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a cross-functional environment.
Ability to work effectively in an international and cross-cultural setting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Languages
Fluent Hungarian and English required.
Chinese (Mandarin) is a strong advantage.
