About the Role

As Technical Support Engineer, you will provide advanced technical support to BYD’s service network across the Czech Republic & Slovakia (and broader Europe as required). You will support fast issue resolution through remote diagnostics and onsite support, strengthen dealer technical capabilities, and contribute to quality improvement by reporting trends and critical issues.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities

• Provide regional technical support via service portal, remote diagnostics, and onsite support.

• Conduct regular visits; organize workshops with partners and HQ to improve capability.

• Organize onsite technical training for new product launch and structured level training.

• Collect/report typical fault trends and critical faults; drive rapid quality resolution.

• Develop and release technical notices and typical repair cases.

• Support regional special events and urgent technical escalations with onsite solutions.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by line manager.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Fluent English and native Czech; Chinese is a plus.

• Strong cross-cultural and cross-functional coordination skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• NEV technical background preferred.

• Willingness to travel frequently within Europe and to China.
