BYD Automotive GmbH is a leading global electric vehicle manufacturer specializing in innovative, sustainable mobility solutions. Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for sales-related financial accounting for the company in Croatia and Slovenia, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local Croatian accounting standards.

• Manage and control sales revenue, discounts, rebates, marketing expenses, and other related items.

• Oversee accounts receivable management, including aging analysis and cash flow forecasting; control credit and liquidity risks; collaborate closely with the sales team to optimize collection processes and minimize bad debt risk.

• Analyze sales gross margin, expense ratios, and overall profitability, and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Review the financial and tax compliance of sales contracts, commercial terms, and business models.

• Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and business performance analyses, providing decision-making support to management.

• Establish and continuously improve financial processes, internal controls, and ERP system applications, working closely with sales, operations, and the CEE finance team.

• Ensure accounting accuracy and tax compliance for the Croatian entity, and support the internal tax team with tax filings and related matters.

• Maintain effective communication with local tax authorities and external auditors, and support tax inspections and annual audits.

Required skills, qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Economics, or a related field.

• 8+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a core finance role.

• Experience in sales-driven companies and/or the automotive industry is highly preferred.

• Proficient in SAP financial systems and Excel.

• Fluent English as a working language; Chinese proficiency for daily communication is a strong advantage.

• Strong sense of responsibility, execution capability, and risk awareness, with excellent cross-cultural communication and team collaboration skills.
