About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a General Specialist to our Vehicle Production Division in Szeged.

Key Responsibilities:

• Time & attendance administration:
  Collect, check, and maintain attendance data; prepare regular attendance reports.
  

• Payroll support:
  Provide accurate attendance inputs to support payroll processing and salary calculations.
  

• Employee administration lifecycle:
  Support employee entry/exit/transfer processes and probation status administration; maintain related documentation.
  

• Employee relations & engagement:
  Collect feedback, support internal communication, and contribute to team cohesion and employee experience initiatives.
  

• Administration & coordination:
  Manage internal approval and reimbursement workflows; maintain company asset records (registration, inventory checks); support business travel arrangements (flight, accommodation, local transport) and basic travel cost control.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:

• Secondary education (higher education is an advantage).
  

• Basic computer skills (MS Office, email).
  

• English language skills:
  Confident daily use of spoken and written English (coordination, reporting, communication).
  

• Good communication & service mindset:
  Clear, polite, and professional communication in both verbal and written form.
  

• Accuracy, reliability & teamwork:
  Detail-oriented, organized, able to meet deadlines; cooperative and flexible attitude.
