Your Mission
The Dealer Network Development Assistant supports the Dealer Network Development Specialist in expanding and optimizing BYD's dealer network across Spain and Portugal. This role ensures operational excellence, compliance with brand standards, and seamless back-office processes to drive network growth and performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
Network Development & Expansion
Assist in implementing the brand’s network development plan across Spain and Portugal, tracking medium- and long-term progress at dealer and facility levels (Sales and After-Sales). Support the identification of strategic locations and market opportunities for dealer network expansion through market research and analysis.
Dealer Performance & Business Planning
Assist in monitoring dealer activity and performance against business plans, feasibility studies and KPIs (sales, after-sales, profitability). Support the preparation and submission of annual business plans, forecasts (sales volumes, revenues, margins), and financial performance analysis.
Dealer Operations & Compliance
Audits of corporate standards, facilities and operational requirements, ensuring compliance with contractual standards and following up on corrective actions.
Back-Office Support
Manage payment processes, contracts and addendums administration, and internal workflows support and record-keeping across Spain and Portugal.
Support on tracking financial aspects such as budgets, expenditure forecasts, and profitability analysis for network initiatives and dealerships.
Support on driving process digitalization efforts, standardizing tools for reporting, audits, and performance monitoring.
Support on offering advisory support on network improvements, including coverage optimization, service quality enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or related field.
1–3 years of experience in dealer network development, retail or automotive environments (OEM, importer or dealership).
Basic understanding of automotive KPIs, dealer operations and business planning.
Experience working with financial and operational data (forecasting, budgeting, profitability).
Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with focus on process improvement.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment (Spain & Portugal).
Spanish and English (high level) required.
High availability to travel.
