About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for logistics planning, layout, and network design in Hungary and across the European region.

• Lead the development of the European logistics network (including warehousing, transportation routes, and customs clearance hubs), and design cost-efficient, resilient supply chain solutions. Align these with target market tariff policies to support overseas plant operations, KD parts export, and local vehicle distribution.

• Drive the development and implementation of intelligent logistics and digital platforms.

• Develop and manage logistics cost models, analyze cost structures, and continuously identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
  

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:

• At least 3 years of experience in logistics within the European region.

• Good understanding of European logistics, customs, and port regulations.

• Familiarity with end-to-end logistics processes in Europe.

• Proficiency in local language(s), English, and Chinese for daily business communication.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in logistics or a related field.
