Product Specialist – EPR Compliance (CZ & Slovakia)
About the Team
We are the BYD Czech Republic & Slovakia team — a passionate group of both young and seasoned professionals driven by innovation and a deep understanding of the automotive landscape. As a new entrant brand, we embrace complexity and change, and we are committed to long-term success by delivering top-tier BEV/PHEV products, exceptional customer experiences, and high-quality services to our local markets.
Our forward-thinking mindset, agility, and close collaboration with our valued partners form the foundation of our growth. United by a shared vision of excellence and sustainability, we work together to build a customer-centric and future-ready organization in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
About the Role
As Product Specialist – EPR Compliance (CZ & Slovakia), you will manage a portfolio of BYD vehicle models for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, supporting end-to-end product readiness for market success — from specification and pricing to launch planning and cross-functional enablement.
A key pillar of this role is ensuring Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance across applicable schemes (including batteries, vehicles, tyres, packaging, and regulated waste). While EPR responsibilities in many automotive organizations are handled within Aftersales, at BYD this agenda sits within the Product function — making this role ideal for candidates with product, compliance, or aftersales-related EPR experience who are ready to shape a new-market setup.
